SiteGround makes it easy to set up a WooCommerce store powered by WordPress. All you have to do is
- Create your SiteGround account to claim your domain (youbeatstore.com) & your web hosting account to get the party started in few clicks (Be happy as I walk you through it all very easily) Jump to this
- Set Up WordPress (SUPER easy) Jump to this
- Install a WordPress theme (I got the BEST free theme to sell beats & music with WooCommerce) Jump to this
- Customize your newly published website (Hopefully with my instructions you’ll get over this step fairly quickly) Jump to this
- Install useful plugins (I have some SUPER USEFUL, yet free plugins to show you) Jump to this
- Create pages, posts & products (Here you’ll watch me build a TOP-NOTCH beat selling website, can’t wait to see you at this step) Jump to this
- Create a custom home page (I’ve never seen NO ONE build a better looking beat selling website like I show you in this step) Jump to this
Step 1) Getting a Domain Name and Web Hosting
SiteGround is everyone’s favourite hosting provider. And it is mine too.
It’s really cheap for the amazing service they provide.
In fact, it’s 1) stupidly easy to use, 2) incredible reliable and secure (you’ll see in a moment why) and 3) the customer service it unbeatable with it’s incredibly helpful 24/7 live chat always available.
So if I was to set up a brand new site to either sell music or just sample packs I would head over to SiteGround right now and click that beautiful “GET STARTED” button right under “WordPress Hosting”

And I’d continue to then click that big orange “GET PLAN” button to claim my GrowBig.
And the reason I’d reserve a GrowBig plan it’s obvious. As for only $3.00 I get the freedom to host unlimited domains. And believe that’s priceless. You may want to set up a site just to sell sample packs, another for selling beats and another just to blog about it all.
It’s very convenient to choose the GrowBig plan over the StartUp for just $3.00 difference.

Next we need to create a menu for the site.
Now this is very IMPORTANT because a) user experience and b) user experience.
So to make sure that my website leads users where I want to so they get what they want or may want easily & quickly I head over “Menu” under the “APPEARANCE” tab.
I name this menu “Main Menu” and I hit the “Create Menu” button.

And before I start adding my preferred items to the menu I make sure that it’s clean and that there are no unwanted tabs.
You should be able to see below how to remove unwanted tabs

Now, to really finish things off we must take care of a little thing called footer.
That’s exactly what the big red box indicates.

To do that, just go to the “Widget” section under the “Appearance” tab.
Since WordPress creates a footer by default I go ahead and delete unnecessary widgets in the footer of my website.

And once my footer section is nice & clean I mode the LFH side of the page.
Here you can see all the widgets available to insert in the footer.
But mind, you ca insert any of the widgets you to you available in any section you can see on RHS of the page. these widgets but also for other section of your website.

I create my footers pretty similar on all my websites.
And to create the footer of royaltyfreelofimusic.com I decided to follow my all time favourite Site Stats + Help & Info and Amazon Affiliate Disclosure.

Here’s what it looks like behind the scene.
3 simple widgets one after the other that appear one next to the other live on the website.
